Boeing Begins Conference in Nigeria Today

Boeing conference in Nigeria begins today, to address infrastructure gapsHundreds of aviation stakeholders from within and outside the country are gathering  in Lagos today Monday June 5, 2017 for a conference jointly oranised by aircraft manufacturer; Boeing , Aviation and Aerospace Development Foundation (AADF) and Springfountain.
The conference is aimed at harmonising thoughts towards addressing the gaps in aviation, aerospace education and infrastructure in Nigeria.
AADF Director and the conference coordinator, Mr. Kayode Ariwodola, explained that the forum sought to provide a veritable platform through which the entire spectrum of the industry was reviewed and addressed, particularly with regard to issues bordering on aviation education and aerospace education infrastructure in Africa’s most populous country.

Africa,s fastest growing airline; Ethiopian Airlines has acquired its 18th Boeing 787 while also partnering with Boeing and three non-profit organizations (NGO’s) to deliver 6.5 tons of humanitarian aids for St. Paul’s Hospital and Bihar Dar University College of Medicine & Health Sciences.Ethiopian and Boeing have synergized with Conscience International (CI), Horn of Africa Neonatal Development Services and Seattle Alliance Outreach (SAO) organizations for the deliveries.

Ethiopian Airlines Set to Commence Sixth Weekly Flight to Seychelles
Ethiopian Airlines has announced its plans to  introduce additional weekly flight to Seychelles with effect from 6th December 2017.Chief Commercial Officer of the Airlines, Mr. Busera Awel, said while announcing the additional flight on Saturday in Addis Ababa said it became  necessary to increase frequencies because Seychelles is Africa’s premier tourist destination, with the natural attractions of the archipelagos.
This addition means that passengers will be able to connect Seychelles via Addis Ababa almost on a daily basis.

                        Dr. Samuel Adebayo Uterine fibroid, also known as Leiomyoma, is a benign (non-cancerous) tumour of the uterus (womb). Fibroids are the most common benign tumours in females and they occur during the reproductive years. They occur in up to 50 per cent of women. Aero Contractors: Temporary Flight Suspension is a Safety Measure Says NCAA

Nigeria’s oldest domestic carrier Aero Contractors has just suspended scheduled flight services with effect from today September 1, 2016 but the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has dismissed claims that some airlines in Nigeria were shutting operations insisting that the airlines in question merely suspended scheduled flights temporarily as a safety measure. While explaining that Aero Contractors still operates charter services, the Director General of NCAA; Capt. Muhtar Usman Says the airlines were merely embarking on a temporarily suspension of flights to overhaul and strengthen their operations. He explained that “One of the airlines, Aero Contractors Ltd., at present has only one serviceable aircraft. “This is in contradiction to the Nigerian Civil Aviation Regulations which stipulates that no airlines operator shall carry out schedule commercial operation with only one aircraft. “The minimum acceptable number is three aircraft” Capt Muhtar furthe
