Turkish Airlines’ Anadolujet Launches International Flights

Turkish Airlines’ AnadoluJet brand is scheduled to commence International
flight operations on March 29 from Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport. Founded in 2008,
AnadoluJet has been operating domestic flights within.
AnadoluJet
which is a subsidiary of Turkish Airlines will add international flights
covering 26 destinations in 16 countries to its routes in Turkey. The
new destinations are Ercan, Amsterdam, Kuwait, Barcelona, Dubai, Berlin, Baghdad,
Brussels, Bahreyn, Dusseldorf, Baku Frankfurt,
Jeddah, London, Erbil, Milan, Riyadh, Munich, Tehran, Stuttgart, Tel Aviv, Paris,
Tibilisi, Rome, Damman, Vienna, Abu Dhabi, and Medina.
AnadoluJet is a low- cost airline with its aircraft consisting of
solely economy class to increase passenger capacity offering services to more
customers at a lower cost.
Turkish Airlines said it will
handle the whole operational processes of the airline such as the ground
services and technical maintenances.
Turkish Airlines Chairman of the Board and
the Executive Committee, M. İlker Aycı stated; “To
this day, we carried millions of passengers to four corners of the world with
our brand Turkish Airlines. From March 29 on, AnadoluJet will continue the
example of Turkish Airlines and will open its doors to the world, allowing us
to carry more passengers with Turkish hospitality. We wish to make AnadoluJet
the airline that becomes the meeting point of the world just as its namesake
Anatolia, the land that was and is the connecting point of numerous
civilizations throughout history. I believe that after connecting Anatolia from
one corner to another, AnadoluJet will successfully connect cities of the world
with its affordable flights.”
