Emirates Offers Limited Passenger Flight to Lagos and other Destinations

Emirates has announced plans to operate limited passenger services to select destinations to facilitate residents and visitors wishing to return home. Emirates emphasized that only “citizens of the destination countries and those who meet the entry requirements of the destination will be allowed to board. Customers will be required to follow all health and safety measures required by the UAE authorities and the country of destination”.
The destinations are Frankfurt; scheduled for 25th, 27th  and 29th April, Jakarta on 26th April, Johannesburg 25th  April, Lagos,26th  April, London Heathrow, 23rd, 24th, 26th, 28th, 30th April, Madrid, 29th April, Manila,24th, 28th, and 30th April while Tunis is scheduled for 30th  April. 
The airline stated that passengers wishing to travel to Johannesburg, Lagos, and Tunis must contact the South African Embassy, Nigerian Embassy, and the Embassy of Tunisia in the United  Arab Emirates.
However, passengers travelling to other locations can only make a one-way booking via the airline’s website or through their travel agent.
The airline said it will offer a modified inflight service that reduces contact, and the risk of infection adding that the aircraft being deployed will go through enhanced cleaning and disinfection processes in Dubai, after each journey.
Passengers are required to apply social distancing guidelines during their journey and wear their masks when at the airport and on-board the aircraft.  Travellers are advised to arrive at Dubai International airport Terminal 3 for check-in, 3 hours before departure. Emirates’ check-in counters will only process passengers holding confirmed bookings to the above destinations.
