Arik Air Introduces Special Valentine Fares

Valentine is around the corner and a lot of organisations are introducing freebies. One of such organisations is Nigeria's largest airline; Arik Air.
Arik Air  is giving away one complimentary flight ticket for every ticket purchased this valentine season as part of a series of sales promotions to celebrate the airline’s 10th anniversary.
Arik Air said in a statement that "The first among the planned offers is the special Valentine promo fare which is available from 31 January, 2017. Customers can take advantage of this offer by buying one return ticket to any destination within Nigeria and then get another return ticket free for their loved one.
The offer is open for purchase on or before 14 February, 2017. To make this super flexible, convenient and to give adequate time for customers to plan their getaways with their loved ones, the offer permits the first sector to be travelled anytime until 28 February, 2017 while the return sector can be completed on or before 31 March, 2017"
"Customers wishing to take advantage of this special Valentine offer can buy their tickets by calling the airline’s Call Centre on 01-2799999 or at any Arik Air Airport or City Ticketing Office".

Aero Contractors: Temporary Flight Suspension is a Safety Measure Says NCAA

Nigeria’s oldest domestic carrier Aero Contractors has just suspended scheduled flight services with effect from today September 1, 2016 but the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has dismissed claims that some airlines in Nigeria were shutting operations insisting that the airlines in question merely suspended scheduled flights temporarily as a safety measure. While explaining that Aero Contractors still operates charter services, the Director General of NCAA; Capt. Muhtar Usman Says the airlines were merely embarking on a temporarily suspension of flights to overhaul and strengthen their operations.
