Flight Disruption: Arik Air Assures Passengers, Stakeholders of Commitment to Resume Operations Soon

 Nigeria’s largest airline; Arik Air has notified her numerous passengers of a disruption in her flight services across all her destinations today September 13, 2016 while assuring passengers, stakeholders and the public that the airline is working round the clock to resume normal flight services.
 The airline in a statement apologized to her passengers for all inconveniences caused by this unfortunate situation and reiterated her commitment to resume normal flight services “pending approval of aircraft documentation related to insurance renewal.”
Arik Air in the statement further said it” wishes to advise and assure the public, its customers, stakeholders and partners that we are fully committed to returning to our normal operations and minimize any unfortunate inconvenience to our passengers. Where flights have been cancelled, the airline will notify passengers through SMS and in such cases, passengers will be accommodated on first available alternative flight as soon as normal flight operations resume.”
According to the statement “All customers are kindly advised to contact Arik Air’s Call Centre (01-2799999), Airport or City ticket offices or visit the airline’s Website (www.arikair.com) for further updates”
The airline further advised passengers to confirm the status of their flight through the contact channels made available before reporting at the airport.
Arik Air is the largest airline in Nigeria and West Africa and flies to most capital cities across Nigeria as well as offering regional and international flights to Abidjan, Accra, Cotonou, Dakar, Monrovia, Freetown, Banjul, Douala, Libreville, Luanda, London, New York and South Africa.
The airline commenced commercial flight operations in October ,2006 and it is renowned for high safety standards and deploying modern new aircraft. Arik Air will be marking her 10th anniversary this year.
