Boeing Appoints CEO, Launches Integrated Business Services Unit

Manufacturing giant Boeing has announced the appointment of a new Chief Executive to succeed
Vice Chairman Ray Conner due for retirement in 2017 even as it sets a new unit to manage business services.
The President , Chairman and CEO of Boeing; Dennis Muilenburg in a statement published by http://boeing.mediaroom.com named Kevin G. McAllister president and CEO of Boeing Commercial Airplanes .
Muilenburg also appointed Stanley A. Deal president and CEO of Boeing Global Services, a new business unit to be formed from the customer services groups.
 According to the statement” Boeing Global Services will bring together core capabilities currently within Commercial Aviation Services and Boeing Defense, Space & Security's Global Services & Support group”
Boeing says some defense and commercial customer fleet support will remain within the two existing business units while the new unit will provide a broad portfolio of advanced services and incorporate the capabilities of various Boeing subsidiaries, including Aviall and Jeppesen”
