A Virgin Atlantic plane has made an emergency landing at the Goose Bay airport Canada following what the airline termed a "technical issue".
A spokesperson for Virgin Atlantic; Lisette Kwong told www.cbc.ca the company will send another plane to Goose Bay immediately to enable the affected passengers continue their travels.
The flight from London to San Francisco was diverted when the pilot "requested a priority landing" as a precaution, following what the airline is calling a "technical issue."
"We would like to apologize to customers for the delay to their journey, and are working hard to ensure they can continue as soon as possible," Virgin wrote.
The truth is that any aircraft can develop technical issues, how an airline manages the situation whenever it occurs is what matters and I think Virgin is taking a customer-centric step to minimize the impact on the affected customers.
