New Video Boosts Airline’s In-flight Safety

Nigerians and other nationals on Turkish Airlines have been provided with a new video to watch while onboard as part of measures to enhance security and passenger protection during air transport operations.
Turkish Airlines according to a statement, produced the new inflight safety video, riding on latest High Definition technology, to improve the safety of its passengers in Nigeria and other countries.
The new video is featuring filmmaker and social media phenomenon Zach King. Turkish Airlines said it had been rated for six consecutive years as Europe’s best airline, according to Skytrax, flying to more countries than any other airlines.
With the significant growth in the number of first time or irregular travellers over the recent years, Turkish Airlines, chose to leverage illusions to improve the safety level on-board, the statement said.

Despite the economic depression, the Nigerian Aviation Handling Company Plc (NAHCO) said it was still firmly in control of market share in the aviation ground handling business.
The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of NAHCO, Norbert Bielderman, while briefing the media yesterday, said that the firm has 80 per cent of domestic airlines in its fold and 90 per cent of international market comprising big international carriers.
He said the two carriers that are not handled by the firm are Arik and Medview, stressing that they are opening more stations across the nation like Yola, Maiduguri and Birnin Kebbi, among other states.
