Nigerians love to travel and one destination in the world that Nigerians love to visit is the United Kingdom. That explains while the new 24hours visa issuance policy just introduced by the British Government is a step in the right direction. Now you can apply for UK and get it within 24 hours if you meet the requirements.
The new Super Priority Visa (SPV) service commenced since August 1, 2016 but does not come cheap! Applicants who want this quick service must be ready to part with £750; that is an equivalent of over 300,000 naira in this current economic era. You must also submit your application in Abuja or Lagos Victoria Island Visa Application Centres.
A post on the website of The British Government  https://www.gov.uk says “The introduction of this service allows customers greater flexibility to choose from a number of visa products to meet their needs; it is offered alongside our current Priority Visa”
Though the cost of this service makes it more appealing to the elite, the good thing is that ordinary Nigerians applying for UK visa still have a choice. So it will be a question of cutting your coat according to your clothe as there are options ranging from 5days to7 days or 15 days.
The British High Commissioner to Nigeria Paul Arkwright while welcoming the launch of  this super fast visa service in Nigeria was quick to point out that though this new service costs more; it offers flexibility and speed especially for business travels.
Applicants for the Super Priority visa service can book appointments from Mondays to Thursdays between 8.30am to 10.00am and on Fridays from 8.30am to 9.00am at the Abuja and Lagos Victoria Island Visa Applications Centres only.
