Arik Air Leases an A340, Increases Flight Frequencies to Boost Customer Experience

Nigeria's leading airline; Arik Air is ready to provide convenient and comfortable travel experience to her customers this festive season as the airline has just leased an Airbus A340-300 wide body aircraft to serve the Lagos-London route while also increasing flight frequencies across key domestic destinations to cope with passenger demands.

A statement from the airline says the increased frequencies on domestic routes is” predicated on the need to ensure that many Nigerians are able to travel home to share the joy of the season with family and friends”

Arik Air also explained that it leased a wide-body A340-300 from Portugal to supplement its wide-body fleet of two A330-200 aircraft to cope with the demands of its international passengers on the London Heathrow and New York JFK routes.

So passengers flying Arik Air this Christmas season should expect smooth, comfortable and convenient flight experiences.

Aero Contractors: Temporary Flight Suspension is a Safety Measure Says NCAA

Nigeria’s oldest domestic carrier Aero Contractors has just suspended scheduled flight services with effect from today September 1, 2016 but the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has dismissed claims that some airlines in Nigeria were shutting operations insisting that the airlines in question merely suspended scheduled flights temporarily as a safety measure. While explaining that Aero Contractors still operates charter services, the Director General of NCAA; Capt. Muhtar Usman Says the airlines were merely embarking on a temporarily suspension of flights to overhaul and strengthen their operations.
